SixSeeds currently offers two kinds of involvement: Subscriber and Early Stage Partner.
1. Join as a Subscriber
If you are interested in our movement and would like to receive our e-mail updates and other resources that we produce, please sign up.
It’s simple and easy:
- There’s no cost.
- You can unsubscribe at any time.
- We will never share your information with anyone else.
2. Join as an Early Stage Partner
SixSeeds grew out of an initial partnership of a few families. We invite you to consider joining us as a Partner in this early stage of our movement.
An Early Stage Partner participates in at least one of our three categories. Click on each for a fuller description of the benefits of participation.
Learning 
(The exchange of thoughts on parenting practices, culture, and other issues that impact a family committed to service and giving)
Serving 
(Volunteer service work done as a family)
Giving 
(Financial support of other familes’ projects and other needs around the world)
You can choose one or more of the above as your main way of being a Partner in SixSeeds
What does an Early Stage Partner actually do?
An Early Stage Partner contributes in at least one (and hopefully more) of these categories: Ideas, Projects, and Grants.
Learn: Participate in the dialogue. We’ll send you periodic notices of new web content and occasional local events. Your role is to respond actively. This may mean sharing the content with other families. Or you may want to email us your reactions – and we may post your thoughts for benefit of others. We especially welcome original contributions on any topic relevant to family based service and giving such as: how to do holidays, helpful movies for the family to watch, effective parenting practices, and any number of other topics.
Serve: Engage in a service opportunity as a family. In some cases, you could participate in a current SixSeeds project located across the country. But most are meant to inspire you to find existing opportunities in your own community. We’re especially interested in families that have started your own project. Whatever the type of project, receive resources from other like minded families… and share yours as well.
Give: Financially give to those who are meeting needs around the world. We pool funds to support each other’s Projects and also to particularly inspiring service organizations. The Grants are also designed to equip your own family. They may come with curriculum to help you teach your kids about specific needs in the world. Or the Grants may provide creative ideas about how you can better give to your own chosen causes.
We raise funds for SixSeeds Grants via annual shares in our pooled giving fund, with each share valued at $500 per year. 100% of the amount raised by these shares goes directly to the grant recipients. The operational costs of SixSeeds is covered by the founding families.

We certainly don’t require every Early Stage Partner to acquire shares. But we hope you will consider getting involved this key aspect of our mission. For those who want to participate in this way, we offer purely as a suggestion that you consider getting one share for each member of your family. But whatever works for you is great with us!
